"Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, however, I booked a superior room and got an interior room with views to a 1spm patio with all aircon engines. When asked for a change, they told me it was not available. Breakfast was basic but nice and tasty, as well as dinners. On check out I was asked by a gentleman to pay for the room and meals, yet everything was already paid for.. I did not mind, yet I found it very unprofessional. Sundbeds at 'bikini beach' are def a plus."

"Staying at Ocean Pearl Maldives was short but truly memorable. Although we only had one day to enjoy Gulhi Island, the staff's warmth and attentiveness made every moment count. They knew it was my birthday and went out of their way to make it special, decorating our bed with fresh flowers and even suggesting a birthday cake (which we paid for ourselves, but the thoughtful gesture was appreciated nonetheless). "Veli is an amazing resort to visit. I cannot say enough about the staff at Veli. They were all so attentive to our needs and did everything in their capabilities to keep us happy. "An idyllic island. We stayed as a couple in a Dhabi Loft Villa which was a beautiful two floor apartment with direct access to a gorgeous part of the coral reef just a few minutes swim away from the comfort of our bed. "Great place to stay "

"We had a fantastic stay at Kaani Palm Beach. Rooms are spacious, a/c works really well, good sized bathroom and a really comfortable large bed. The infinity pool on the roof is a great bonus with fantastic views, although it can get very warm in the afternoons. The Kaani sunbeds on part of bikini beach are free, and have an umbrella. The main attribute for the hotel however, is the staff. We met so many lovely members of staff, that I can't remember them all, but I would like to mention Azmeem,...

"The experience was ok, breakfast was good, they give you towels for the beach, and the air conditioning works perfectly, but the photos doesn’t match exactly as the ones advertised on hotels.com and not even similiar to the ones in google maps (it shows a swimming pool that doesn’t exist) it’s a few blocks from the prison and next to a mosque so prepare for the 430am prayers from really loud speakers, also there is doing a super loud construction of a building next door "

"What a wonderful stay we had. The hotel is right on the bikini beach so you step out of the hotel and BAM beach time. The hotel is clean and fresh and everyone has their role to play. Great snorkeling experience and felt safe and well looked after. Meal options are fab and the buffet dinner is a treat. "Nice hotel. Good sized room with fridge and kettle. Cups, tea, coffee not provided no tv in our room as it was broken but the Wi-Fi was good enough to stream from. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast basic but edible. Let down by a failure of anyone to meet us at airport for the transfer as arranged. Instead we made our own way from Male using private ferry and then walked. "
