"We were booked for a week. We got there very late and my wife noticed the room was not really clean and it was just run down. In the AM, we woke up, turned the light on and there were cockroaches on the couch and our luggage. In the light, the room was disgusting, both in condition and cleanliness. We went to the desk, told them and she said "that was one of the rooms maintenance was supposed to take care of". We were both floored. We had Hotels.com call right then and get our money back. I could NEVER recommend this place! Avoid at all costs."
"So gross!!! I checked out after 30 minutes. There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Bodily fluids and or food smeared on lamp, walls, and decorative bedding. Walls needed touch up painting. Lobby perfume was so strong it lingered on me even after leaving. Windows bolted shut so no egress in emergency. Manger said due to booking through Hotels.com she could not refund my night. Hotels.com refused to refund my one night stay saying it was after cancelation time. I explained I have a mold allergy and had images of proof of unsafe conditions. He still refused to refund or transfer me to another property next door. He said I should have done my homework on the property before booking. I said I booked a hotel that Hotels.com rated an 8+. I was in a rush and didn't look for all the 1 star most recent complaints, that is true.
After this experience I promise to never use Hotels.com again. I can never recommend their services."
"Room was clean, place was very quiet, my only complaint was that there myst have been a cat in there previous to our stay, near and in the bathroom smelled of cat urine and cat spray."
