Härlig upplevelse på landsbygden.

Vi gillade att det ligger på landet. Vi lånade cyklar gratis och kollade på landskapet, Chiang Mai Grand Canon och ett vitt tempel högt uppe på ett berg. Saltvattenspoolen var ren och barnen uppskattade lekplatsen, men den skulle behöva ses över. Mycket hjälpsam personal, och god mat.

Lovely Guest House, with a slight issue...

We arrived knowing the location was quite a distance from Chiang Mai, but we weren't in a rush and coming straight from Bangkok was perfect to relax. There were no other guests when we arrived. The swimming was a great addition to the Guest House and the sun stays all day. We took full advantage of the free bike usage and went to all Hang Dong had to offer. We stayed in the standard double room and was in the very end room, it was very spacious and the bed was huge! The bedspread was great too, we bought the same one! However my girlfriend did wake up every morning with bites all down her legs, we don't want to say it was caused from anything other then mosquito's but it was suspicious considering it happened through the night. We did the Cooking Class with May (she is a delight to be around) and we had a great day going to the market for ingredients then cooking Green Thai Curry and Tom Yum Soup. However, although we paid to cook 3 meals we only cooked 2 and didn't actually get the cook the desert, only watched May cook it. For anyone that wants a few days to relax, it's a great place.

Great little place in the countryside

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and experience at Little Village. What a cute little gem! We only stayed 2 nights, but could see ourselves staying longer. Comfy bed, clean bathroom and cozy settings are all at the top of our lists. The owner, Hans, really tries to get you to feel like you are at home. You can go into the kitchen if you need something, help yourself to the community drink cooler (just write down what you take) and the pool was terrific, you can swim at all hours of the day. The staff, Mae and Den, were extremely sweet and helpful. Two of our favorite memories are taking the bikes out for a lovely ride in the countryside and having dinner at the small local Thai restaurant shack just down the street, thanks to Hans for the recommendations (Sa, the lady, is so incredibly sweet. Truly a must do for anyone staying at Little Village!). I sincerely hope we can return sooner than later.
