"No ocean view "

"Nicky was the bessssstttt host ever ! She made us feel welcome , helped with itenerary , helped me order food to the room , answered ALL of my questions that I had . She was awesome , I will def recommend this hotel to my friends and family ! We loved it sooooooo much & the view/scenery was soooooooo nice . Nicky helped with getting me a rental car as well it was a great price and a very smoothe transaction at the airport ! "

"First, the staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful, most pleasant! We loved the hotel in the style of something you might see in India- hotel is right on the boardwalk and a very nice beach. Room was large, furnishings reminiscent of the far east, 3 door slider with an ample balcony overlooking the beach. The room was very clean, large, and a big bathroom. We were a bit concerned as the description said there was a tub- and there was a large, built in modern tub but there was also a big walk-in shower. The commode had it's own "room" with door, which is a nice feature. Bath had a double sink with plenty or counter space AND another large counter and mirror where 2 people could do makeup, contacts etc. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed for remodeling, as there is a lovely covered dining area on the boardwalk and beach that would be a wonderful place to take meals. there were a couple minor items- the e-lock on our door wasn't working so we had to use a key rather than a card, and it took us a bit to figure out how the sliders out to the balcony worked- none of which detracted from the experience in my mind. We really loved our stay and feel it was a great value!"

"The rooms were clean and the pools were beautiful. Unfortunately the pool bar and restaurant closest to our room was closed for renovations but everything was beautiful "

"No windows/ insufficient lighting/staff does not offer any hospitality/ you have to ask for everything, like pulling teeth/checking in was a surprise and inconvenience for them/no welcome, how was your flight, would you like suggestions for things to do or restaurants to visit?my bathroom light did not work for 2 days/did not offer to show me how the a/c remote worked or tv channels "

"It is old, but quaint. Be advised there is no elevator! It is not fancy, but the staff was nice, and the bed was comfy. And the location is great if you are overnighting before a cruise!"

"This may not be the most elegant hotel on the island, but in my opinion it is the best. The food at the Gingerbread Cafe rivals any top class restaurant and the mini-mart, albeit small, has anything that you may want. If they don't they will get if for you. Also, you can fill out a grocery list and they will stock your room with those items so that they are there when you arrive. All rooms have two bedrooms and bathrooms. Two large couches in the living area, one being a sleeper. A small kitchen but with anything that you would need if you decided to cook. Dining table with 4 chairs. There is a TV in both bedrooms and the living room. Each unit has a very large porch overlooking the beach and the ocean. Great housekeeping service everyday. The staff are exceptional. It is a couple of minutes walk on a pathway by the beach to the hotel next door if you choose to eat at the restaurants there, but with the Gingerbread Cafe available, there really is not a need. I do have to admit that if you are a pool person, theirs is very small, but it isn't really needed with the ocean right there. The price is great and you should really try out this hidden gem."
