"My reservation was specifically for a non-smoking room, but upon entering, the room had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke, as if multiple people had smoked inside recently. It was unpleasant and non consistent with what I booked. The following morning, although the scheduled checkout time was 12:00pm, at around 9:14am a staff member named Marie (at least that's the name she gave me) opened my room without knocking. I had just finished showering and was changing when I heard someone opening my door. I immediately told her that she should knock before opening as this was a clear violation of privacy."
