"All of North Hero Island is a vacation-within-a-vacation. We loved-and needed!-this break from the stress of every day life, and we're so glad we found this unique place. We especially enjoyed the perfect 180-degree view of the lake from our screened-in porch, a comfy king sized bed and great shower, and the delicious complimentary breakfast.
Our only real issue was that because we arrived after 11 pm and everything was tucked in for the night, we had trouble locating the entrance in the dark! (It's on the side, toward the back.) Perhaps a small light over the sign would keep other night owls from having to tromp around in the grass with their suitcases, searching for the right door.
The Pier Bar just next door to our cottage was also a happy surprise.
