"The room was small but well kept. The heater was excellent and the bed comfortable. It was a very reasonably priced room. The only problem was that the motel is situated across the street from an active railroad track and the one had no trouble knowing when the engines were passing."

They work really hard to make you feel comfortable and cared for as a guest and it shows. The continental breakfast was perfect. Plenty of options considering the actual cost of the stay. "Room was in very good condition, staff friendly. I liked that the room was quiet from outside noise. That said, it was not quiet from inside noise. The heater made a loud ticking noise for over an hour. I think it was cooling down after I turned it off, but since I am a light sleeper it would not allow me to sleep. When it stopped, there was another unknown noise most of the night. Also, the bathroom still doesn't have light bright enough to put on makeup. I always stay in this hotel when...

"We stayed at this property because it was a historic property dating back to the days when Route 66 was booming. It was clean, and had the basics as far as coffee in the room, soap, etc. As we were there in February (and it was cold in the evening) we used the heater, and it did work to keep the room warm, but we had to set it up very high and it turned on and off all night. The bottom line is that the idea was to get a taste of the past, and it fulfilled that requirement."
