"Stayed one night only but wished we stayed longer to hang our fishing boots a little longer. A spacious studio for 2 people was very clean and had a small kitchen with a cafe table! The indoor hot tub was a welcomed amenity after exploring Hobbiton! The grounds staff were all friendly and Perkins, the dog, greeted us, too. Laurie, the office manager, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Her husband was a delight to talk to, also, about fishing, of course! "

"The property made for a delightful overnight stop between the Waitomo Caves and Hobbiton. After the chilly adventure of exploring the caves, relaxing in the hot springs and enjoying a hearty meal at the tavern was the perfect way to end the day.
