"The price for the room was excellent. The size was more than I needed but thankful that they had a room available in such short notice. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is definitely in the process of renovating and making improvements. That being said the hotel has a lot of improvements to make in order to attract visitors to stay. "Assigned to cabin #6 but it was not clean. So I went back to the office and many appoligies and they put me in cabin #4 It was good, a little rustic and had one surge strip that didn't work but the livingroom surge strip worked fine. Got to see fish in the river swimming. The only drawback was the trains. They went thru about 3 times a night, whistle blowing and wheels shreecking. But after the first night you can tune it out. Management was so helpful. Good people and good stay. Lots of birds...

"We booked on Expedia and when we arrived at the property the office was lock up tighter than Dicks hat band and couldn’t find anyone. So we left and they still charged us for the stay!! This is actually a half way house and not a motel. It is very ridiculous to have this on Expedia when no one is around. We would like a full refund!!"
