"Selected Wheatsheaf based on location travelling from Scotland to South Coast. We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. Dinner that evening and breakfast next morning we're excellent. Will definitely be back. Jim and Lorna"

"This is a lovely hotel with fitness club, golf course, etc.. We didn't use any of these as we were just passing through. Very nice room and surroundings. One thing could be done to improve the experience - clean the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfasting room."

"Stayed for business. Wifi poor, furniture very worn, generally needs some TLC. TV had no signal and staff seemed to be aware of issue but it has never been fixed. Food good ans parking easy."
