The location is terrific. The hotel is older, but it has been fairly well maintained. We had a pizza as a snack when we arrived and it was wonderful. We would go back the next time we go to Charleston.

The Hotel staff were very nice and engaging. Valet parking attendants very helpful. Great location. Standard room is adequate and has all of the amenities needed. Beautiful historic hotel. A charming place to stay. Attached restaurant and starbucks were also quite convenient. Food at the restaurant is inexpensive and very good.
