We had a drink in the pub & all staff were super friendly, especially the lad who was also on check out this morning! "The attention to detail is so lovely. Everyone was really helpful and we enjoyed the food, the surroundings and the spa. A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work! "

"The room wasn't quite how we expected based on the picture provided at point of booking, but was ok. The bed was on the former side but reasonably comfortable, as we're the pillows.
