"A magical stay in Asakusa for our 20th anniversary! We loved our recent stay with Ryokan Kagomawa in Asakusa. The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and thoughtful, and we were so touched by the beautiful present they gave us for our 20th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the deluxe room on our first night, which was absolutely amazing. We then moved to the economy room for the last two nights, as we had changed our booking before arriving. "Lovely place, traditional ryokan"

"I loved the location. It’s far from the city but not too far. It was a great location if you came from Narita airport because theirs a direct train that’s quick. 3-5 minute walk to the station. I did fight the washer/dryer. I was there for quite a while for it to take my coins. Staff did respond quickly so I did feel better. By the time someone came by the machine finally took my money. I enjoyed my stay and convenience store was around the corner!"

"Great location for Asakusa district, very nice manager who spoke English well, and good price, but very basic, even for a ryokan/hostel, with very limited amenities. Clean, but run down. "

"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."

"It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. There was a fire and the fire alarm did not work and there was no reception as well as manager on site. The phone number given to us to contact the property never worked. Would not recommend unless you have no other option. It was a good location though."

"10日程滞在させて頂きました。 西浦和駅徒歩15分程の立地で、周りにはコンビニしかありませんが中期滞在には困りませんでした。 部屋も開く最低限清潔に保たれていたお部屋なのは良かったです。 しかし、1Fの立入禁止エリアには人が住んでいることが知らされておらず、最初は不安に感じました。 管理者が中華系の方ですが丁寧に話は聞いてくださいました。 "
