"Nestled into a quiet part of the country and good views of the sea. Room was nice and spacious, albeit a bit antiquated. Limited dining options next to the hotel so plan ahead. Kitchen requires you to plan a bit ahead for dinner, especially if its going to be late. I drove to the place so it was OK to get to and from the hotel but I can imagine would be difficult witha taxi. Staff was nice and accomodating."

"I don’t recommend this facility. It needs updating and the bathtooms were dirty and not enough washclothes. Definitely will not return. "

"Looked better in pics than in reality. Airport transfer was not included in the fee and this was not communicated out front. I was also quoted a taxi fee of almost 3 times the normal rate to go to the airport around 6am. Luckily, I found a local taxi company to get me there. "

"Old, shabby, in the middle of a building site, only 1 light in any room. all ceiling vans not working. TV not working. Had to ask for a room key as one was not provided at check-in."

"The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. "

"We spent 5 nights at the Buccaneer Beach Club and enjoyed every moment. The staff was phenomenal - Stanley was very helpful and kind to our children. The beach is steps away from the hotel. The rooms were cleaned every two days and housekeeping did a wonderful job. We grabbed snacks at the EZ Mart, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel "

"large rooms light and airy (upstairs , downstairs seemed like they may be a little dark and there would be people walking past all the time) steps to upper floor slippy in the tropical weather so be aware if this is a thing for you. all staff, like everywhere in Antigua very friendly and helpful (one minor exception - housekeeping on day of departure a little rude / brusk). quite location , except gardening noise most days (they have to be maintained) walking distance to restaurants but...

"View beautiful and room clean enough. The menu prices are listed in island dollars-NOT USA dollars but I do didn’t see that noted so the prices looked sky high, but really weren’t (when converted). Food was soso. "

"location was hard to find as you have to use the location given in Expedia. Place was in a nice quiet location. Areas of improvement: sink water was running very very very slowly. Need sink replaced. Toilet would run more often on the second/third day and having to manually hold the stopper down was too much. WiFi was spotty which could have been due to the location. Scenery was beautiful, management was responsive and helpful. Parking is also scarce. I would book again as a 5:6:7th option for...

"Beautiful, low key, comfortable, excellent people, good food, fun, and relaxation. "

"The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a few minutes from the airport and the city center. The staff and the owners are extremely kind and accommodating. The room is very spacious and clean, and at night you can only hear the sound of the sea waves. The hotel's restaurant is a must-try. The lobster fettuccine and the pizza are exceptional."

"Good in many respects but our timing was bad. Apparently spring is the time when sargassum weeds move in. The beach at the property (and anywhere on the north and east side of whole island was unusable). They clean things up but it takes a few days and we never even got to walk on the beach. Housekeeping could be more prompt (they tried to make it up after I complained). Property in general was good but for the price paid I am not sure it is best value."

"Truly on the beach. Deckchairs and fresh beach towels any time. Salt plage restaurant does excellent breakfast and dinner and drinks on the beach. Friendly staff. Rooms are functional, comfortable and clean. We had a kitchenette and living room which we worked well for us."
