"I was impressed with the updated amenities at the Sierra Inn! The beds were very comfortable and once you closed the door, you couldn’t hear any road noise. It was also very nice to walk around to the back of the Inn to the river and find an abundance of comfy chairs, picnic tables, firepits and bbq ‘s to enjoy. We will be back!"

"Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues."

"The best thing about this hotel is the location! It’s surrounded by nature and absolutely stunning. There is a burger joint next door and it’s only 25 min away from Meeks bay! The rooms are small and cozy. The set up makes it easy to store luggage’s , etc. my only compliant is the rooms do need better cleaning. We had spider webs/spiders on the ceiling. Beds are comfortable! Bathroom is a cute set up. If you don’t mind quaint and cozy this is a good hotel to stay with!"

We told them after one shower and they didn’t have another room and didn’t offer anything to compensate us for this inconvenience. I’m one to book a room based off reviews and this particular hotel seemed to have good reviews and the hotel photos gave the impression the rooms were fairly remodeled and clean. "The over all stay was decent and staff was “invisible” in a good way. Available if needed but not underfoot. We were far enough off the main highway that it was very quiet. Lots of trees and shade.
