We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week. We did not rent a car and were fine without one. We could walk to a nearby plaza where there were restaurants and a grocery store. Wasn't able to use the hot tub or the "quiet pool." Rooms were outdated and mattress in our room were really old. Curtains needed to be cleaned bad and had stains all over them. Aston Kona by the Sea
Great location close to Kailua-Kona. Amazing views of the ocean. The common area with pool and bbq was very well done. Enjoyed watching sunsets every night and coffee on the lanai every morning.

Kona Bali Kai
The condos need updating!! Did not expect to have to cross a busy highway to get to the beach!! Build a pedestrian crosswalk!!
