"While the staff was 5-star—exceptionally helpful and even surprised us with an anniversary cake—the hotel itself is far from a luxury experience.
The Issues:
• The Pool Experience: Total disappointment. The pool is small and shallow (4ft), and was completely overrun by a massive group of school kids. There was no relaxing music, no menu available when asked, and a 7:00 PM closing time that is way too early. It felt like a public park, not a 5-star retreat.
• Atmosphere & Hygiene: To save costs, the hotel turns off the hallway AC, making floors stiflingly hot. We also noticed weird smells in the walkways and found hair in our bathroom upon arrival.
• Logistics: Zero signage on floors for the gym or pool. Because of the large groups, we often waited 5–10 minutes for a lift."
