"Everything about the property was fine. It is the Expedia experience needs improvement. First, I made a two room reservation for two (2) nights.
The folks that were to stay there could not make it the first day. I tried contacting Expedia through customer service and that didn’t go very well. The telephonic menu in trying to get to the right person to resolve the issue was problematic, and I just couldn’t get through.
When the parties arrived the second day, it was learned that the reservation was all together canceled. I had paid for the two day stay in advance. A new reservation needed to be made and paid with a different credit card. At the end of the day, the reservation was paid twice. One to Expedia and one directly to the hotel. I will be calling Expedia tomorrow and try to negotiate an arrangement. I have used Expedia for a number of years and nothing like this has happened before."
