Do visit at least a couple of the five lovely waterfalls all close to the town and a great footpath between most of them. Good base to explore Northland or take a bus tour to Cape Reinga. Excellent Old Packhouse market opposite with super coffee & ca

Kerikeri itself doesn't have much to offer, but is within a short drive from the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, which we had booked to visit in the evening. That was definitely worthwhile, for the concert and cultural experience.
