"Very clean room and bathroom and spacious. Mattresses did not provide much cushion but no big deal. Great location very close to kawaguchiko station and a 15 minute walk from the lake. Would definitely stay here again. "

We missed the detail re pick up ( and drop off to Fujisan station). Take the train from Kawaguchiko station to Fujisan station and then the vehicle to Guest House en. Check out local 4 hr tour with Forest Kraft Outdoors. Couldn’t recommend both Guest House en or the tour more highly. Philip A."

"小菅村を理解した上で泊まること。 周辺施設は数軒のみ。17時頃には閉店。 施設は築約150年の古民家を改造しているため、 天井や柱が低く頭をぶつけやすい。 夏は特に虫も出やすい。 だが、スタッフの方や村の方たちがでの 一生懸命サービスを提供して頂けて大満足。 また行きたい。 "

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."

"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff.
