Wir waren als Familie hier und hatten ein Familienzimmer (2 Schlafzimmer mit Bad und einer Verbindungstür). Der Eigentümer Yanick, der Hotelmanager Marc und das gesamte Team waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ob Transfer, Tour oder Motorrad, alles wurde umgehend organisiert. Der tolle und saubere Strand ist in 5 min erreicht. Dort gibt es auch einige Bars mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen gern wieder.

We arrived tired and worn out from traveling. The host greeted us warmly and patiently. They were great. We would have stayed longer but had to leave after a few days. Highly recommend the hotel. Easy beach access, good food and lovely refreshing pool.

Petit hôtel familial excellemment tenu

L'hôtel d'une quinzaine de chambres est idéalement situé à quelques dizaines de mètres de la plage de maenam. Également à proximité de nombreux commerces et resto sur la main road. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Piscine calme et agréable. Et pour ne rien gâcher l'hôtel est tenu par un couple adorable qui saura vous accueillir et vous renseigner. Petits déjeuner simple et correct avec des confitures maison

Je recommande ce logement pour l'accueil des propriétaires, leur sympathie et les conseils pour nous orienter dans les balades sur l'île, la propreté. Le logement est très agréable et il est situé dans une partie plus authentique de l'île. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Great stay!

Super location, 3 minute walk from a beautiful quiet beach. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice pool, plus the hosts are super friendly and helpful with setting up transportation around Samui, as well as to other islands.

We had a great stay at Ampha place. Didier was very helpful with everything, whether it was questions about the island, providing a scooter to rent, or even booking onward travel. The hotel itself is clean, and maintained well. Only a few minutes to the beach, and well situated for some good food and drinks. A strong recommendation if youre coming to koh Samui

Nice location, just 2 mins away from beach and road so best of both. Warm pool which is nice at night but not for day. Didn’t receive our booking but managed to fit us in lucky. Nice owner who was accommodating and friendly. Would return :) thanks djey

excellent hôtel, toujours aussi plaisant d'y séjourner. merci à Didier et son épouse . je recommande vivement cet hôtel et surtout les confitures maison. :-) on a qu'une envie, c'est d'y revenir.

Lækker lille oase

Fantastisk sted...absolut det bedste hotel på Samui til prisen. Flink og hjælpsom chef. Meget god rengøring, nok det reneste hotel vi har boet på i Thailand. Køb endelig morgenmad på stedet, god omelet og lækker hjemmelavet marmelade, og til gode priser. Super lækker beliggenhed, tæt på stranden og stille og roligt hotel, dog meget lydt. Vi boede på 2 sal som helt klart var at foretrække..dejlig udsigt(se billede). Kan helt klart anbefales hvis du vil have et stille sted at bo. Tæt på Maenam by og diverse spisesteder.

hotel plein de charme, tenu par un francais et par sa femme thailandaise, qui nous ont donne plein de conseils pour les visites,les plus belles plages et des restos sympas. tres belle rencontre et un de nos coups de coeur durant nos trois semaines en thailande du sud. les chambres sont soignees et tres très propres. la piscine traitee a l eau salee est tres agreable au milieu des plantes. le dejeuner est servi avec des confitures maisons....!!! l hotel loue des scooters et on arrivepeut les garer devant. en un mot parfait, calme, a recommander.

Très bon hotel. Sans hésitation

Nous avons passé 3 nuits mais nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps... Non seulement parce que l’hôtel est très bien mais aussi parce que Didier et sa femme Salika sont adorables. Situé à Mae Nam dans un endroit calme, à l'écart de la route principale et pas directement sur le front de mer mais à 5min à pied de la plage.. Un 7-11 à proximité, une petite landry et services location de scooters et voitures. L’hôtel n'a que 12 chambres, donc familial. Toutes les chambres ont vue sur la piscine. Nous étions en RdC avec accès direct à la piscine. Tout est très propre, bien entretenu. Les chambres sont vastes et literie confortable (clim, frigo, necessaire à petit-déj, TV). La salle d'eau est nickel. Petit-déjeuner servi sous forme de formule au choix près du bar (goutez aux confitures de mangue faites maison!). L'accueil et les conseils de Didier et sa femme ont été parfaits... les excursions, les restau du coin (Cafe Jano)... ils sont toujours disponibles et font l'impossible pour nous rendre service (nous reviendrons avec notre permis de conduire). Nous avons réellement sympathisé.

Fint og roligt lille sted

Vi havde en enkelt nat der, inden vi skulle videre til Koh Phangan. Hyggeligt sted med en flink ejer. Vi havde to sammenhængende værelser (1+2) med direkte udgang ud til poolen. Få minutters gang til stranden med hyggelig atmosfære.

Fantastic little hotel, just off the beaten track, so really quiet but only a couple of minutes walk to the fantastic beach and plenty of good bars and restaurants. The owner was very friendly and could not have been more helpful during our stay. A real homely feel to the place.

Lovely place for a short stay

We had a lovely stay for a night at Ampha Place. The owner and staff could not been any more helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and immaculate. It's in a very peaceful location just a short walk from Maenam village where there are lots of nice places to eat, Prava is a must visit for amazing food!

Une très bonne adresse

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour (5 nuits) à l'Ampha Hôtel. Les chambres sont propres, grandes et la literie de bonne qualité. La piscine est très agréable avec des transats et des serviettes à disposition. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, Eric parle français. Ils sont toujours prêt à vous aider, ils peuvent réserver des excursions, des billets de bateau.... Juste à côté un service de laverie et de taxi (à des prix raisonnables). La jolie plage de Mae Nam est située à 2 minutes à pieds, les autres commodités (Supérette et restaurants) sont très proches. Allez y sans hésiter.

Wonderful stay on Koh Samui

Ampha place was a great hotel. It was very quiet on the property, which was greatly appreciated. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was good AC (very important in Thailand). The hotel is a bit isolated from the main area, but any hotel in Maenam has the same issue. Upon our arrival, Eric explained how songthaew taxis work (these are pick-up truck/collective taxis where you sit in the back and let the driver know when you want to stop) and how much we should expect to pay for a trip so that we would know what a reasonable price was. The highlight of our stay was the amazing service from the employees/staff. Eric, the hotel owner, helped us to book our last minute ferry tickets and even called multiple taxi drivers until they offered a reasonable price for the ride. Additionally, when we left some items in our room at the end of our stay, Eric was kind enough to mail them to one of the future destinations on our trip. When we have left items at hotels in the past, we normally have never seen them again, so we were incredibly happy to have them returned.

Fantastisk hotel

Fantastisk ophold. Ampha place hotel er en lille perle, gemt af vejen fra et ellers turistet Koh Samui. Dejligt hotel, fantastisk service og personale. Lækre rene værelse, dejlig pool og kun 3-5 min gang fra stranden. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Hotel avec piscine et proche de la plage

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cet hôtel rendu convivial et chaleureux par Eric et son épouse Marie. Hötel très calme, bien situé.Toutes les chambres d'un très bon confort ont vu sur une très belle piscine avec la plage à proximité 200 mètres sans route ni rue à traverser. Mae Man est une station calme et familiale de Ko Samui, qui reste une bonne base pour aller rayonner dans l'ile avec un scooter. Il y a des bons restaurants, en particulier le Beach Way tenu par Pierre où la cuisine est travaillée avec des prix thais. Nous avons également pris le petit déjeuner au Fournil, une boulangerie tenue par un français qui s'est reconverti à la boulange. Nous avons pu manger des croissants et pains au chocolat MAISON ! Avec le scooter, nous avons fait le tour de l'ile et des différentes baies : Cristal Bay un pur plasir,. Fischerman pour ses maisons en bois. Nous avons traversé la cocoteraie, un pur plaisir : personne sur cette route.

Un oasis de confort...

Quel plaisir de retrouver la qualité et l'exigence d'un hotel "européen" dans ce magnifique pays! Une literie super, une douche (chaude) avec le jet le plus puissant de Thailande lol. Et le tout présenter avec attention par le propriétaire des lieux qui est français et très généreux en conseils,renseignements et astuces qui faciliteront énormément votre séjour sur l'île.

Отличное расположение и душевное обслуживание

Этот отель понравился настолько, что в следующий раз только туда. Прежде всего, очень обаятельный и радушный хозяин отеля, соотношение цены и качества просто удивляет. Море и хороший пляж находятся рядом, 150 м по тенистой аллее. Завтраки готовит сам хозяин, сытный, хороший и вкусный. Отель почти пустой, это так радует, выход из номера в чистый, не хлорный бассейн. Словом, благодарим хозяина за гостеприимство и советуем этот отель для остановки на 3-4 дня
