"We stayed at Emerald Lake Lodge at the beginning of March, and it was truly a magical experience. Before the trip we were a little worried about the weather, but when we arrived it was absolutely gorgeous. There was so much snow around the lake and the cabins that everything looked like something out of a fairy tale. The snowy landscape made the whole place feel peaceful and unforgettable.
Our room was very cozy, warm, and comfortable. The lodge provides soft robes and plenty of towels, which made relaxing even nicer. There was also a small table with different kinds of tea and a little coffee machine, which was perfect for quiet mornings while looking out at the snowy scenery.
One thing we really appreciated was that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. It allowed us to truly disconnect from phones and the internet and just relax and enjoy the nature around us. It made the stay feel even more special.
The outdoor hot tub was amazing, especially with all the snow around. Sitting in the warm water while surrounded by mountains and winter scenery was one of the highlights of the trip.
We also loved spending time in the Main Lodge. The story behind the building is very interesting, and we were surprised to learn that it was built more than 100 years ago. It adds so much character and history to the place.
We had dinner at the restaurant in the Main Lodge as well. The lamb was delicious and cooked very well. The chicken was juicy and soft, which made it a great option for kids. "
