"We were looking forward to having a fire at night and the firepit wasn’t working. Also, we were in unit 3 and the floor in the bathroom was very soft - indicating some rot - we didn’t let that change our thoughts about our stay - just letting you know to maybe check it out. This was our first stay in a tiny home and we loved it! "

"Across the Bridge, nice views quiet, can walk to a nearby beach. Jog across the bridge and you’re at the beach and park. Friendly staff, helpful and accommodating. Reasonably priced in comparison to other motels. Room was very spacious. I really liked the layout. "

"We chose this hotel due to its proximity to multiple gold panning reserves, and were glad we did. I found the Skimmerhorn to be your classic roadside Inn. We were surprised at the available amenities, like a bbq pit, horse shoe pit as well as a playground; we didn't utilize them but were glad to have the option. Check in was quick and friendly.
