"Pretty impressed with their thoughtfulness and excellent service! Deposited my luggage with them before check in so I could go sightseeing. When I came back to check in, they told me they had already transported my luggage to my room! "The property was in a very convenient location and excellent staff and kaiseki breakfast and dinner. We were expecting a more modern and updated ryokan experience from the photos when we booked. Unfortunately the ryokan room that we booked was quite dated however the reviews with photos seemed to show a new and modern room. Saw another property with the same name, perhaps there are 2 different Kawaguchiya ryokan. "

"小天橋海水浴場から車で5分、城崎温泉から車で15~20分程度、竹野海岸から30分と、市街地にも車で10分程度と子連れ旅行にとって嬉しいアクセスの良さでした。 建物自体は歴史を感じますが、スタッフさんの対応・行き届いた清掃がそれらを感じさせない快適さを生み出しています。 私たちが利用させて頂いたお部屋ではセルフで布団を敷いても良い部屋でしたので小さい子供のお昼寝や就寝時は安心して過ごすことができました。 温泉もしっとりとしたお湯で気持ちがよく、とても快適に過ごさせていただきました。 ありがとうございました。"
