"Nice clean rooms in a convenient neighborhood (subway station is just across the bridge, fresco supermarket, 7-11 and FamilyMart nearby). Kyoto Station is a little far, so you may need a taxi to/from, especially with luggage. Gion district and pontocho alley also within walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful. I’d say the only improvements would be more laundry machines (there’s basically 6 washers and 6 dryers for the entire place) or have rooms with machines. Would definitely...

"The best hotel we've stayed at in Kyoto. Very spacious, even for the smaller room. Great front desk staff and amenities, with a washer/dryer in each room. A 4-minute walk from the Yamato luggage delivery service and 18 minutes to Kyoto Station, with a Family Mart 15 seconds from the front door. Highly recommended!"
