The hotel is very close to the submarine pens in Saint Nazaire, which was part of the reason I visited the area. The staff in the hotel, that I interacted with, were all very polite, helpful, courteous and professional. The hotel was being used by quite a few marine engineers whilst I was there as the massive docks that Saint Nazaire is famous for are a short distance away, I had quite a few funny interactions with them so thoroughly enjoyed the fact they were there. Convenient stay with friendly and helpful staff, safe place to store the bikes, a good breakfast and reasonable rate. A little out of town and as it’s on a commercial retail park the walk back from town in the dark would not have felt very safe walking alone, it was ok with two of us. WiFi needs an upgrade - connections were ok. It very slow. Overall satisfied and very happy with the staff, but not overwhelmed with the location.

A lovely hotel. Despite the low number of guests the hotel still had a great atmosphere. The two-bedroom ‘suite’ was really just two rooms with a shared outer door but very comfortable, great layout and nicely designed, beds amazingly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent, beautiful bar in the lobby atrium. The staff were clearly very well trained on the ethos of the hotel and were superbly efficient but also very friendly. Hugely recommended if you’re visiting La Baule.
