"We booked because of the description for the indoors Waterpark. Checking in was no problem.... the room we received was not cleaned at all! The beds were a mess and previous users trash and debris was still present. Luckily we only came for the Waterpark fun! We utilized the room bathroom to change, being very cautious not to touch the bedding or any other items in the used room. After leaving the Waterpark fun, we left! I wouldn't have dared stayed overnight!"
"This was a terrible hotel to stay at. They are understaffed in evenings, the poor front desk clerk was trying to do everything for all guests when we checked in and was running around the hotel. We booked a suite with 4 guests and there was no extra bedding, the phone in the room didn't work, so we went down to get some and the hotel had run out of pillows! The 'blanket' they gave us looked like a second hand raggedy throw. There were stains on the pullout couch. They had only 3 towels in the room so again had to search out towels. We moved a chair to make more room and there was food and pop cans under the chair, for who knows how long.
The "breakfast" in the morning was not great at all, limited to a few cereals, soggy eggs, an awful brand of yogurt, some fruit. The waffle maker was working so that was the only plus. The kitchen staff in the morning seemed very frustrated and unhappy.
One of the worst hotel experiences ever. Would not recommend at all. "
"Did the job to be able to rest for a few hours in between traveling. The claimed signs for nonsmoking rooms/ floors were completely ignored. Also our shower was quite finicky to find an in-between temp of hot and cold"
"Stayed there for the Glass City Marathon. It was conveniently located 10 minutes from the university start & finish line. Brought own food for dinner and breakfast- fridge and microwave came in very handy for this. Bathroom was not renovated but it served the purpose. Double beds were comfortable. Only problem I had was the strong smell of the room sanitizer or deodorizer. It decreased with over the 1 night stay. Staff was great and accommodating for a late checkout which we appreciated very much!"
