TOTAL RIP OFF

tried to check in but the jerk at the desk said he did not do business with hotels.com anymore and would not give me a room. name had been changed to palm motel over 2 years ago. I had to go to a different motel that was 40 dollars more but from the run down look of this place was well worth it. DON'T BOOK WITH THIS RIP OFF PLACE FOR ANY REASON !!

Absolutely horrible!! They did not have the ac running in any rooms. Considering this is end of July in FL I was unhappy. The rooms (I swapped because the first was disgusting) are beyond gross. There is no fridge, microwave, there was what looked like blood on the wall and my favorite part, a pretty big albeit dead, spider in the tub. I literally laughed at that point. The lady up front could not have been more rude. They must be new owners because I stayed there in March and did not experience any of this.

Nightmare in Lake Wales

No breakfast like advertised hotels under construction and the staff is very grouchy and don’t want to be bothered. I’d rather sleep in my car than sleep on one of these rock hard beds again

Needs to seriously clean!

The hotel overall was not clean and needed some maintenance to the room. The towel rack was falling off the wall. The shower head had a layer of calcium on it and the walls of the shower had black spots around it. I had just enough toilet paper for one use and the bed had hairs all it. Much more to talk about but all I can say is they need to a little more pride in their hotel’s cleanliness.

The door had a big crack in it when I paid for a smokin room the night person told me do I wanna smoke outside like why would I wanna smoke outside if I paid for a smokin room tf just very disappointed then the bathroom had a bad odor I was jus ready to come back home in my bed and shower

The place was run down and delapidated. We found mouse droppings in the dresser drawers, and some small bugs.

I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it. The room was filthy, there were cobwebs hanging around the room, hair all over the shower area, an old musky weird smell radiating from the room(s) and extremely shady clientele. The local police departments cruisers rolled through the parking lot on a couple occasions. I couldn't load basic websites on the horrible wifi connection and though I'd like to give this hotel 1-star, instead of 2. I must say that the gentlemen at the front desk was extremely pleasant, and for that, I'd feel bad to make this review worse than it already is. But it is worth mentioning, my Expedia reservation was non-existent to him upon my arrival. I've stayed in hotels with similar reviews to mine written here and they're never normally as bad as people make them out to be. But I hope you take my word for it. This one is. It's bad. And I'd take any other hotel in the area with the same cheap price tag over this one. But never this one again.
