"Room was very clean as was the bathroom. It had everything you needed and it was all clearly labelled. Kingsize bed was really comfy. Curtains were blackout so no light got through. Situated in a lovely quiet area so there was no noise throughout the night. Throughly enjoyed the room. Had no issues are complaints. "

"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! "My room was very clean, even changed bedding every day which I said wasn't necessary, I think this is over & above, making a lot of work for housekeeping! Shower room small but immaculate.No biscuits on the tea tray which are normally provided. It was very peaceful & airy, never heard any sounds from other guests or the road but I was on the top floor, 33 stairs to my room which was fine but worth noting. The staff were lovely & helpful.
