What a small gemstone. Just go and experience it!

Wauw! Many reviews are describing a worn down and old hotel. Well - old is true. And worn down is semi true on a few things like the windows and carpets. BUT! Travelling more than 100 days a year, I have rearly visited a hotel with this amount of charme! They truly keep this in the 60’s style. It is amazing - like a small German time machine going back to those times. And the staff were all very friendly and helpfull. Ofcourse it is old! It’s from the 60’s.. I really like their approach to keep it in this setting. Our room was totally refurbished and very nice indeed. Very clean. With the greatest view over the river. Talking about the view - both from the restaurant and the terrasse (where we enjoyed a beer in the afgternoon) there is an amazing scenery of the river. We were also able to chgarge our Tesla at their Tesla Destination Charger. Excellent! I will not hesitate to go back :-)

Ingesamt hat es uns gut gefallen, auch wenn der Preis für eine Übernachtung etwas hoch ist. Beim Frühstück wäre Obst und Gemüse wünschenswert. Ansonsten - wie der Name des Hotels schon verrät - tolle Aussicht auf die Elbe beim Frühstück!

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Der wunderbare Ausblick auf die Elbe aus dieser Höhe bietet eine märchenhafte Kullise, sowohl draußen als auch im Speisensaal. Das Personal war sehr kundenorientiert und freundlich. Der 60er Styl, ist einfach genau mein Geschmack gewesen. Unser Zimmer war andereseits sehr modern gehalten, renoviert mit trotzdem immer noch mit einem leichten Ton von den 60er Jahren. Eine tolle Kombi. Einziges Problem war das unsere Zimmer Tür sich nicht schließen ließ und so wir immer von innen abschließen mussten damit die Tür zu blieb. Aber dies stellte kein besonderes Drama dar. Dies kann ja schnell repariert werden.

Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Ich war schon das zweite mal dort und muss sagen, dass das Personal immer super freundlich und Hilfsbereit sind. Die Zimmer sind super. Reise alleine daher habe ich immer genug Platz. Auch die Umgebung ist schön. Die Altstadt in der Nähe ist super schön zum spazieren gehen. Frühstück war auch immer sehr gut. Alles in allem sehr zufrieden. Kann ich gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Tolle Lage mit Makeln

Wunderschöner Ausblick auf die Elbe. Sowohl vom Restaurant-Garten als auch vom Frühstücksraum aus. Das Hotel ist leider schon sehr abgerockt für 3 Sterne. Der Gastservice kann auch nicht auf kleine Wünsche eingehen (Wasserkocher, doppelte Schlüssel, etc...) Sehr schade bei dieser guten historischen Grundsubstanz und Lage. Das Zimmer war sauber. Die Handtücher hart :) . Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Leider wirkt das Personal für Rezeption und Frühstück zusammen unterbesetzt und dadurch etwas gehetzt. Trotzdem sehr nett. Vielleicht solllten die Betreiber/Besitzer mal wieder häufiger ihren Service selbst in Anspruch nehmen?
