"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "We had a lovely one night stay. The room was so cute and cosy “13” it was like stepping back in time but with modern amenities. The bed was super comfortable. I had a great nights sleep. Dinner was lovely,as was the breakfast. Staff we friendly and very accommodating. Only downside was that it’s very dog friendly in all areas. Something we aren’t used to in Australia, where they are banned from most places unless they are service dogs. I highly rate the passion fruit cocktails."
