Really love the surroundings and the rooms are very pleasant and clean. Would love to return again and such a delightful experience. The bed is comfortable. Love the River. Lovely snacks and coffee provided in the room.

Great location on the river, good food and wonderful views. The rooms themselves reminded me of a motel setup. Once inside it was clean and spacious, however we noticed a kitchen setup which upon inspection did not function. The oven and furnace seemed to have been disconnected from power and buttons were removed. Of course, this was no problem as the inn offers amazing food, so why would you cook your own?

It was ok for what we paid and the room was quite large and the bed was comfortable but no mirrors other than a small one in the bathroom and there was paint on the shower floor plus the buger at dinner was vile and was not eaten.

Poor service and falsely advertised.
Really unimpressed. There are 4 options to book. Single, double, twin and quad rooms. All are named as "rooms" however on the app when booking the quad room pictures show three interconnecting rooms, a living area, a twin and a double room. This is why I booked. Travelling with my young daughter and elderly mother we needed the separate sleeping areas. Upon check in, 2 people at the bar in front of me, so I waited patiently for the staff to get to me. When it came to being at the front of the queue they started pouring drinks for punters sat on a table near to this that had not left their seats, yet were being served before. No, "we'll be with you in a minute" or anything. No acknowledgement at all. Once I had the key and we made our way across the car park to get settled, I open the door to our accommodation to find one large room with two single beds and a double. Not at all what was advertised on the app at time of booking. I go to speak to staff and they explain they have 2 quad rooms. The 1 pictured online and the 1 they put us in. They could not move us as had other people in the other room. I took this up with Hotels.com via chat and found them no help whatsoever. As we had "booked just one room" Hotels.com uninterested in the false advertisement on their site. There was a boiler whirring in the room which meant none of us slept. window wide open yet all of us too hot. The bathroom was in a horrid state. mould and very poorly cleaned. I could go on.

It was great. Food was great. Room was ok, fits perfectly for us family of 3. Only thing was the toilet, wasn’t cleaned very well.

Really lovely stay
I honestly could not fault my stay at Riverside. The room was clean and tidy and there was plenty of choice of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. My son loved all the biscuits and the little room with the single bed in. In the morning we went to the pub for breakfast and it was one of the best breakfasts I’d had in a long while.

From start to finish we had a great 1night stay. Only down full was no breskfast served during the week, but this did not spoil our stay . Will defo return

This place is fantastic and they do all the hard things well. Location, staff, cleanliness and amenities. The one thing I would criticize is the mattress is terrible as in some 1970s spring torture device. If they fixed that I would never want to leave.

Really lovely setting and room was great my only issue was the bed only had a sheet on the bottom No mattress cover or protector ? Bed was not that comfy either Food was really nice in the pub

My room was small but well furnished with a comfortable single bed and well stocked bathroom across the landing. Anything I asked for was provided. However the TV seemed not to be working - lack of signal?

Great Thames riverside accommodation location. Sunday “Hospitality” B&B new low. Bar and restaurant early closing. Restricted food services. No Sunday evening dinner. No Monday morning breakfast. Web site says “free breakfasts”! aka Bring your own!

This wasn't our website saying this - Most of the pubs in the local towns and villages run reduced menus and hours on a Sunday afternoon/evening. Our times are advertised.

We stayed in Leach 1 - absolutely beautiful room - bed was so comfortable and there was a great selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. The area is lovely as well. Only negative was the Wi-Fi and tv connection was awful and at times non-existent.

Wouldn’t really recommend
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting 5 star but clean is the bare minimum and quite frankly it wasn’t. The bath/shower being dirty is not reassuring. If guests have access to something like a boiler cupboard (leading from the bathroom) then there shouldn’t be rubbish all over the floor of it. The mattress was incredibly thin and they had tried to make it better by a mattress topper (that could have been a duvet tbh) that did not fit so did not really help the situation. Unknowingly I was late for check in as the info I was provided from hotels.com advised check was open much later than it is on a Sunday so I do appreciate the member of staff staying later for us to collect keys. The staff were friendly. It was the condition/cleanliness of the rooms that was not good enough.

Beautiful setting right next to river . Car parking free to residents . Staff very helpful and friendly . The room we stayed in was overall good .could have done with a little TLC, especially the radiator in the bathroom . That definitely needed a coat of paint . Mattress was a little on the soft side for us . No hair dryer ( not sure if they had one we could have borrowed from reception ) Plenty of tea and coffee in room along with biscuits too ! We found everything quite adequate fir our 2night stay and would stay again another time .

Our room was very good except for the mattress which was lumpy and hard. I had to put another pillow underneath to make it more comfortable.
