"Like it's sister hotel in VT, MMV le Panorama was a sound choice. Conveniently located a stones throw away from the information centre and ESL school centre as well as local shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and food was great with enough variety if there for a week long trip. Had to collect snowboard from local rental shop which are affiliated with the hotel as rental shop in the hotel had limited supply of equipment for snowboarders (skiers in our group had no issues). "Overall a vey high quality hotel. However, I had half board and although the quality of the food was excellent , I would have thought that dinner should give some options on the menu. They were happy to provide alternative if I had asked during the day. Butter should given with the bread instead having to ask each time. An additional cheese dish at 22 euros is a little expensive."

"Great location near gondola with access to bars and restaurants within a quick walk. Not too noisy other than road clearing each morning which isn’t the hotels fault. Breakfast is a small selection but has great cakes and meat. Comfy bed and bath in room which is a must. Great to be able to make tea in communal area. "Characterful but basic Chalet hotel. Perfect base for walking. The owner was a fantastic host - he explained the evening meal (local produce, excellent and cooked by his wife) in great detail.He also explained the available wines and, of course, the history of Chatreause. As we were leaving the next morning, he insisted we drive to the end of the valley before we continued South - wow! It was really worth it with stunning mountain scenery."
