"I couldn’t recommend it enough. Super friendly check in, lovely facilities, an option of restaurants. Very clean room, great pool. We’d definitely stay here again."

"Took us 3 times to find parking but it was very spacious once we found it! Staff were very helpful. Would be great of there was a toaster and a washing machine would be better than the full size dishwasher but other than that location was great. Would stay again."

"Communication and instructions were very clear. Superb location (very close to the cathedral) and the apartment was well kept and spacious for our family of four. We willl book again for our next visit to Rouen. Merci!"

Probably the world’s most sumptuous bed and breakfast, the chateau is beautifully restored and outfitted with an assortment of antiques and contemporary fittings. The owners are wonderfully welcoming and really went out of their way to make my short stay memorable

A gem of a place for a birthday overnight stay. Laurent and Bruno were exceptionally warm and welcoming and our son was delighted that his bedroom had the beautiful view of the Chateau Gaillard! Seizing the moment early Sunday morning to look at the respective views whilst reading, we knew we would like to return for longer. The best breakfast on Sunday morning made it hard to leave. Thank you!!

Booking a second Holiday Inn Express for 2026 was a great choice. The hotel is easy to find in Rouen and made for a very comfortable stay. A big credit goes out to Fabrice who noted my Wife and Father-In-Law are disabled and allocated rooms accordingly for our party. That was much appreciated. We had rooms 014 and 114 which were found spotless and made for a comfortable nights stay. There is a bar which serves a limited menu to which the Pizzas were great and the Croque Monsieur wasn’t bad...

Friendly welcome and efficient staff. The room was very clean and spacious. Lovely bathroom with good pressure in the shower. Parking is fine but a little tight with a larger car.

Great spot. Lovely clean, well maintained hotel with lovely grounds and right next to a river where you can take a long walk. Super accessible location and very quiet surroundings. Only slight downside was the breakfast which was very limited.

Our hosts Laura and Diddier were very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them including being patient with our poor French skills giving it a relaxed homely feel.
Everything was spotlessly clean, our room had a king bed but I'm sure it's a king king bed, it's hugh! It was also extremely comfortable and all the extras were provided, dressing gown and slippers in sealed laundry bags, microwave, kettle and refrigerator.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of 5. Although a little of route it was a stop off on our way to La Rochelle. We found this a great restful break and a great start to our holiday. I’ve bases it all 5 stay on the price of the stay £140 for a family of 5. We had the 3 bedroom accomadtion and it had everything we needed. It is dated, but all in all a good stopping point for us as this is always difficulty for a family of 5.

We were generally satisfied having stayed in the hotel for 6 nights. A useful advantage is also its location neighbouring to the restaurant Siecle d'Or. During our stay there were construction works to enlarge the hotel building, due to them the parking lot was reduced, but the hotel staff was always helpful to find solution for suitable parking of our car.

The room was exceptionally clean with nice beddings and furniture, which was a pleasant surprise considering the low price. The only minor issue was the area around it. There's a lot of construction and development around the area, which I'm sure will look great in a few years. It is only a few minutes walk to the river which is a very nice area, and about a 25 minute walk to the town centre. For its price it's a great place to stay.

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Les Hogues, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.
What’s there to see and do in Les Hogues?
Explore the area and family-friendly sights such as Biotropica Zoological Conservatory, or get out into nature at a spot like Jardin des Plantes. In the wider area, you’ll find Château Gaillard and Grand Casino Partouche - Forges-les-Eaux.
What’s a holiday rental in Les Hogues like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Les Hogues. Holiday rentals offer extras such as laundry facilities and kitchens to help you enjoy your stay. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, holiday rentals can provide a sense of security away from shared hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive choice for family gatherings.
