"Our (family with 2 kids under 12 y.o.) stay was very nice. The responsible person at the hotel was very helpful with our requests and made some very nice suggestions during our 4-night stay. "This hotel does not pretend to be high end or luxury. Instead it’s a relaxed hotel with very attentive staff. The view of the sea in April was spectacular The beach is rather stony not sandy but the placemet our needs perfectly. We stayed there one night only to break up a tarp from Thessaloniki to Athens. "We were looking for an intermediate stop between Meteora and Athens, and chose Aidipsos because it was on the water. Evia Bay is a small hotel with very nice rooms and friendly proprietors who shared local knowledge on restaurants and pointed us to the hot springs right on the beach in town, where in mythology Hercules went to recover after battles. Overall great stay, beautiful sunset and a place we would stay longer for relaxation if we had the time."

"The place is beautiful but that’s about it. We didn’t know you needed swim caps to get in pool. Not very friendly about that or anything else. Like a ghost town and average age is 80. Which is fine unless you have children like we do."
