"Bar staff were great, rooms were clean "

"Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. "

"We stayed 1 nite in room 7 lovely room and amazing shower room which is an old vault only downside is it does flood the whole area but was worth it bed was comfortable it doesn’t have phone network so be prepared to use there free WiFi also doesn’t have normal tv channels you have to sign into Netflix luckily we have Netflix so was easy to do wat really impressed us was def the shower area in room 7 it was awesome we will def return to room 7 if in Swindon :)"

Das Hotel und Pub sind urig aber sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die wahrscheinlich den Charme ausmacht. Das Frühstück war seht lecker 😋 von richtig englisches Frühstück bis einfaches Toast mit Marmelade. Die Bar im Pub ist sehenswert, wir hatten das Glück einen Abend mit Live-Musik zu verbringen. "If you are visiting Cirencester, this is an amazing place to stay. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, I stayed in one of their deluxe rooms and it was amazing. They have a great restaurant and bar attached to hotel and the outdoor area is peaceful and relaxing. The piano bar on Friday Saturday nights is great entertainment! The staff are really friendly but not intrusive. Location is perfect, walk into city center in 10 mins and easy driving access to any POI. Definitely come back...

"Lovely dog friendly stay - staff were all super helpful, friendly and accommodating and the whole place was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Delicious food, both dinner and breakfast, great selection and all arrived piping hot, well presented and 'just right' in terms of timing between ordering and delivery. A couple of constructive points / minor areas for improvement - the pillows were exceptionally firm, the pathway to our room would benefit from additional low level lighting...
