"Really nice and regrettably brief stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast ran by a lovely couple. I was made to feel at home from the start and the hosts went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible (including an offer of a lift to a local pub!). Breakfast was really high quality and ample. I will definitely look to stay again! Thank you!"

"Staff were lovely. Check in was good. Although couldn’t book us in any earlier & we were attending an event which was a shame. But no huge issue. Parking superb Bathroom lovely. We stayed in Sariska room which is on the front of the building. Being a Saturday night stay - it was a tad noisey & nothing to do with the hotel. But some car with a loud exhaust drive up & down quite a lot during the early night. We closed the windows to block it out but then as we’ve had this hot weather the room...

"Room had no minibar, no snacks, no bottled water, no air con, only a fan. Bath was nice and deep but taps difficult to turn on. Flooboards creaked whereever I walked, inside the room, as well as on the stairs. Breakfast was poor quality and selection. Swimming pool had nice outdoor area. Was asked to pay deposit upon checking in. Given there was nothing removal from the room, did they suspect I might be taking the bed with me? Overall, not impressed."

"We really enjoyed our visit, liked the hotel which had a cosy friendly atmosphere. Clare was particularly helpful when our television would not work, she made two visits to our room to resolve the matter to our satisfaction. Clare was also very chatty and friendly when we had other queries, a valuable asset to the hotel."

"The good: located directly beside the train station for convenience, room was tidy, staff were friendly, breakfast was sufficient, although a tad expensive, but comparative to other hotels fair. The poor: the AC did not work, the hotel room was 27C the whole time. When complaining to the staff, they shrugged and handed us a small fan. "Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...
