The ever happy wonderful Susan on reception.

Everything about this property is amazing I took my 4 daughters for one of their 40th birthdays and from the time we checked in their customer services were excellent recognising the occasion with chocolates and wine in her room. The spa was just heaven breakfast outstanding and all our rooms were 5 star cant wait to go back to Fota for all our celebrations

It's a smart place to stay, everything you need obviously. I was particularly glad for the lovely terrace to sit out at the end of the day.

Excellent hotel. Close to Cork Airport and Cork City. Ideal for a relaxing break. Staff worked very hard to make one feel special. Loved the method of registering and settling the account via a personal receptionist and being sat down at a desk. The gentleman at the door was friendly, welcoming and offered advice when asked. Taxi requests were responded to promptly. The resident's lounge was comfortable, a nice retreat for a drink following a meal. Restaurant excellent for both breakfast and an...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maryborough Hotel. Staff were so friendly and breakfast had an amazing selection. The room was clean and very comfortable. There was a slight issue with the shower mat which was actually slippery and would have been safer without. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and we had a relaxing stay before our onward journey.

Great hotel, friendly staff, fantastic spa facilities, lovely views.

An excellent hotel ideally suited for a holiday or short break. The facilities were excellent and the staff and food spot on. Our room and the restaurant were overlooking the bay. The hotel is also next door to the railway station. Highly recommended!

Excellent and easy access into town by bus, staff very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble

Loved everything about room and location very clean, toilet a bit noisy probably just a problem in our room but it was a one night stay so tolerable. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel, have stayed before - would stay again and definitely would recommend

It is a lovely traditional Irish guest house. full of character with helpful staff Also very clean with everything you need. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice nothing was too much trouble . Parking was very easy plenty of space and very secure.

Very convenient as close to Cork station. Easy 5-10 minute walk into city centre. Hotel all good and very well presented.

Great location in the centre of Cork. Excellent breakfast, good size room and very enjoyable cocktail bar. Only minor hiccup was check was delayed.

An amazing find - and I would definitely return. Totally refurbished, they’ve kept the old and quaint but made it super comfortable. Highly recommend the Cask bar for food and good beer (and awesome looking cocktails made by Harry) Rooms very comfortable, for city centre very quiet

very comfortable stay. Bus stop just outside the hotel if you need public transport. My mistake, thought it was nearer cork centre so walked there the first day with our bags!! Suggest a taxi on the first day! Room was clean and pleasant, and breakfast generous and set us up for the day. Would recommend this hotel to all.

I have stayed in most Cork City Hotels over the years, including the other Maldron by Shandon. However, the Maldron South Mall is in my opinion the best. Excellent facilities, staff and location. I look forward to staying at this hotel again.

Top class food, facilities and staff

I had an amazing stay. The staff was very kind and accommodating and seemed to remember me specifically. The salmon at dinner was INCREDIBLE. This is the first hotel where even with a “do not disturb” sign, they still provided the extra comfort and replenishment without disruption in a bag outside the door (coffee/tea refill, clean towels, fresh water, clementine, and muffins every morning, etc.). I’m used to being skipped over entirely if the sign is up. The view to the water is stunning and...
