"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mike and Jill were great hosts and their beautiful dog Sophie made our break. Breakfasts were superb... Visited Aberglasney and Llansteffan and had a wonderful break. Food in the Castle was very pleasant as was the ice cream shop round the corner...."

"For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, and superbly functional, everything you need is here. In an area which is very close to the Beacons National Park, close enough for access and far enough away from the "beaten tourist path" to offer solitude and peace and quiet. "We stayed in 'Edward' and it had 2 single beds pushed together, and that was about all that fitted in the room. It was not a double room, nowhere to open cases, no bedside table. Just not enough room for 2 people.We stayed Tuesday night and they did not serve meals on Tuesdays¡"

"Lovely weekend at the Bear Inn.. quick check in, room was quirky, but very clean, linen and towels good quality. All staff very helpful and friendly. We are not vegetarians, however we ate at the Bear both evenings and thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food. Woul definitely recommend a visit. "

"Lovely room, delicious food and friendly staff. The property has an old charm and the room fresh and welcoming. The dinner was superb with a good selection of Welsh dishes. There is a very good selection for breakfast. This was our chosen place for our final night in Wales after completing the Beacons Way; and very happy with choice."
