"Staff were excellent, but the experience was badly let down by the condition of the room which was in dire need of a refurbishment.
Breakfast was poor with a toaster which took an age to lightly brown the bread, croissants which were clearly not fresh and bananas which were rotten throughout.
Such a shame, because it's location was excellent. We definitely expected better."
"Had a very pleasant overnight stay. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure.
This is an old building so it can't be compared with a modern structure, but it has plenty of charm. Very helpful staff. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment. Would definitely stay again."
"This hotel was top-notch on every level. The staff was welcoming and helpful at every aspect of our stay. The restaurant was amazing and I would recommend eating here more than any other place in town, and that is not to discredit any other establishment...it's just that great!"
"The room could definitely do with a makeover. Very tired looking and slightly shabby. The breakfast, however was good and the staff friendly and helpful"
"Rooms and inn itself were great.
Service at dinner was extremely slow to the point where we had to flag down a different staff member every time we needed something basic like getting water, ordering dessert, or even paying our bill.
The restaurant also had the most uncomfortable restaurant chairs ever. Definitely not what we were hoping for after a long hard day of hiking up and down Conic Hill. It literally hurt more to sit than stand"
"The location was excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good enough. The hotel was clean. It needs updating.
Our two nights stay was satisfactory.
We had a hot water problem in the shower but it was attended and fixed. Though water in the shower was not hot enough not enough force.
No major issue.
Thanks"
