"My partner and me stayed for one night. This place has great potential but they need to work on several areas. It was very clean the room was very nice and the air con was spot on. Negatives breakfast. Yes it’s a bonus getting a breakfast in a London hotel but this was very poor. No hot water in morning so no shower which was very very disappointing. No explanation as to why . Barman in evening when we returned after watching London show not particularly receptive . A bit of courtesy...

"Had a great visit, the rooms are small but very comfortable. The location is fantastic with plenty of options to eat. The rooms had AC which was so helpful after a hot day exploring. Breakfast was included so options for continental breakfast or a hot English breakfast. Would stay here again."

"The rooms aren't actually in/ above the pub, there is a separate building out the back with the rooms. The building isn't anywhere near as attractive at the pub! I was a little disappointed as it was a birthday present to go to The Henry Moore Foundation, dinner and stay over. The rooms are nice, we had a king room and the bed was huge and comfy- no complaints about the rooms themselves, other than they were very hot. I would stay again if in the area, but not as a special occasion."

"location nice, rooms hot in summer. doors in halls of hotel need cleaning/paint, looking scruffy. Staff in restaurant especially during breakfast inefficient. took more then 30m to get yoghurt served.... other tables with 6 guests were served 2 dishes each in meantime. waitress should identify better the customers i.e. business travel single person or 6 guests on holiday. staff at night waiting behind bar, almost felt like they avoided contact with customer. If it weren't for the kind gentleman...

"The bar was good nice beer Room nice needs a bit of TLC mind , the in room safe didn't work I even bought new batteries for it tried them several ways to make sure in right but think just very rusty inside the battery part. But all in all nice place nice touch with the drinks and snacks free . My room was all good . Just needs a bit of TLC . But would stay again . I didn't report the safe so it looked locked if you get me . Thanks"

"This hotel is in need of some serious TLC. Good location and the cooked breakfast was good for £12.50. Shower was dire and the room was very warm. When we asked if we could have fan we were told there was one in the wardrobe, that was a fan heater and made more noise than it did move air. With the windows open it was survivable if a bit loud in the room. The bed was nice and comfortable. We understand that it’s an old building so no complaints on the creaky floor and winding corridors but the...

"Room needed more cleaning. Balcony not as per photo - only one chair & overgrown vegetation. Bath panel very high & a challenge to those with restricted mobility. The lift does not access the dining room which is in the basement & only accessible via narrow steep stairs - again a challenge to those with restricted mobility. No extractor fan in small bathroom & meant the mirror was useless after a shower/bath. The bath did not drain adequately after/ during a shower meaning you were shin deep in...
