A delightful boutique hotel in a great location. Breakfast was fantastic with a full English breakfast with a great vegetarian option offered as well. My only complaint is that the reception area is rather hard to access on the 2nd floor with either steep stairs or a very small elevator to try to get your luggage into
Wonderful to stay in such a historic place. Pub and food also very enjoyable Good proximity to some landmarks and Thames river cruise to get to other locations in London. Would stay here again!
Beautiful old establishment with great amenities. Restaurant/Pub on the first floor with great food and friendly staff. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of both underground and bus transportation stops.
Our classic double room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, just missing an armchair to sit in whilst reading my book otherwise fab. Limited cereal choice at breakfast (cornflakes or granola) but other cold choices really good and hot breakfast choices are excellent. More smiley faces from the bar/breakfast staff please! Hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Multiple choice of underground stations within a short distance of the hotel.
This was my first ever visit to London, my husband has worked there before but not familiar with any area, we were looking for a place that had good connection services and we found one, From the moment we walked into the Counting House we felt very welcomed.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, fantastic choices for breakfast and very tasty.
The room we stayed in was the Nobel it was clean spacious and modern.
Fantastic location as 2 minute walk to the bank station and 5 minutes walk to London bridge.
We are going to make this a yearly trip and we will.not be staying or looking at anything else to stay. Highly recommended
Quintessentially British. The room was your average hotel room, clean and pretty design. It did have air conditioning, which was a huge plus as the UK was going through a heat wave. Location was great but just off the beaten path. Both girls at the front desk were perfect, friendly and super helpful. All around 10 out of 10 would recommend and would stay again!
The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The room was unique and was manageable for two nights and the location was great. Our only 2 issues were the lack of bathroom plugs for hair appliances and the gap in the shower door that let water leak out on the floor when in use. That being said, they allowed us to check in early (which was truly appreciated after an overnight flight), the included breakfast was amazing, the pub was vibrant and had great food, and the desk staff helped us carry our suitcases down several flights of stairs when we were in a rush to catch our ride to the train station. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
