NOT a Five-Star hotel! No Concierge, No Room Service, Stairs and steps in awkward places. No Seat of normal chair height in bar-combo hotel lobby. Just high perch benches and stools. Big construction opposite the hotel that has the street blocked off. Taxi driver had to drop me off with my suitcase a block away. (Decor is bizarre but that's just personal taste.) Stairs and steps make it not user-friendly to get to the attached restaurant. Room was spacious, with a tiny balcony. OK place for 1 nite stay but not longer (stayed 4 nites.) Staff were helpful and friendly. Kudos for Mina, Phillipo and Harry who provided help and walked me to the restaurant attached. Best for easy departure to Eurostar and St Pancras which is directly across the plaza.

Excellent all around experience. The staff was all so nice and helpful. We had a baby and they were patient and kind to us throughout our stay. The room was very nice and shockingly quiet despite the bustle outside. I saw some reviews complaining about noise but the windows were all sealed and it was very quiet.

I loved everything about my stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and seemed to genuinely care about hotel and London experience rather than seemingly cycling through a rehearsed training programme which was refreshing. The hotel itself was incredible; the aesthetic, the feel, the vibe I just loved everything about it. The icing on the cake was how it all tied into the graphic novel and how you felt part of that wonderful adventure with so much to see, explore and photograph (oh so many pictures)!! There has been a lot of care, attention and love put into the hotel project to create the unique experience. All the usual things are on the checklist, cleanliness good food etc... and a special shout-out to the mind-blowing hokus pokus cocktail bar without visiting your stay is not complete. Absolutely perfect location for easy access to all major underground tube stops, the train station, and direct trains to Heathrow. The hotel is wonderful and exceptionally quiet for being in such a busy area. We had a small problem with our room on the last night of the stay through no fault of the hotel. But the staff were very quick to make it right and upgraded us immediately to another room. Exceptional service!!! Wonderful value as well. Will definitely be staying here again.

There were large areas of mold in the shower. When I checked out, I showed the manager photos of the mold and he said I would be hearing back from him. I never did hear back from him. The floor was uneven with some gaps in the flooring. The room furnishings were rundown.The corridors of the hotel were very narrow and the lobby was tiny. The hotel was advertised as luxurious, but I disagree. I paid just under $300 USD for my room.
