"Super practical and family friendly hotel in IKEA town Älmhult. Parking is free and safe outside. Passing through we appreciated the free to use washing facilities and the many games and activities the hotel offers. You even get free entrance to the IKEA hotel opposite, so follow the many signs to the museum, as many Sat navs will take you somewhere else.
Älmhult has excellent shopping on the outskirts of town as well.
Highly recommended as a practical stop over and of course a must if furniture...
"I couldn't get my money back when I booked online and the room wasn't available.
The staff told me it was my fault.
If they have a room to book how can it be my fault.
Really bad service."
"Bit dated but was a nice standard and breakfast was very good. Would be worth checking over the summer if any nightclub noise is expected as Friday was noisy until 3am."
"It is very charming and old. But our room and the breakfast room were not clean at all. Dust on the floor alongside the bed, webs everywhere, bedside table sticky etc. Bed and linen was ok.We were the first to have breakfast, but the tables had crumbs and the floor was not clean. Bathrooms were ok. Toilets lacked paper and soap.
It was cheap, but still I expect cleaning. It would take only a little efford to give the guests a better experience."
