"Overall our stay was just fine. The place is a little run down, but you get what you pay for. The owner was unable to charge our rooms to separate cards which was a little annoying, but she was a very nice lady. The Restaurant / bar next door had very friendly locals and their food was amazing!!"

"These are just THE nicest people who run the motel. The room was HUGE! Bed, pillows and coverings were so comfy. It was SO nice and cool. Bathroom was so great with a huge soaking tub and great shower. There is a private patio outside the back door where it was SO nice and quiet with a beautiful view. We slept so good! The little community felt safe. You DO have to go 7 min down the road to Ennis for meals (ate at 287 Tavern), it was great! I would stay here again. "
