"Gorgeous place, we stayed two nights for some down time whilst travelling for 5 months. Our room (9) overlooked the garden. Great bed with fresh white quality bedding, great shower. Excellent bar/bar menu and restaurant. The garden is gorgeous. A shout out to Dani working in the restaurant who’s great fun and also to Caitlin who gave us the best check in ever, took us to our room, explained the on-site menus etc. Breakfast here is also fantastic. "Wow! An amazing experience at a beautiful property, with outstanding service. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels in NZ, and this was truly the highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the room is beautiful. But the staff are what make the place really special. "We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. A delightful stay."

"The ground and buildings look good - feels like you’re in a Swiss resort. Staff nice enough. Breakfast very average though. Had to pay $15 per day for parking which is expensive. It’s a hotel that gets large bus groups through so can be noisy. "
