"Went to stay at Mad Monkey for 3 days in the shared dorm for the doublebed room for couples. It was some lovely people and very helpful staf. It has happy hour for 4 hours a day, you get a free drink when arriving and they have aircon in the rooms. The rooms are still warm but feel quite private.
We enojyed the pool area, especially at night where you could look at the stars and swim around before going to bed.

"Wonderful family who runs this property. Everything is clean and tidy. There is a small boat—a 2 minute walk—that takes you across the river to avoid the mile long walk. Clean hotel! "
"Oh this place provides amazing customer service. Spacious and clean room. Delicious breakfast especially their Chicken Fried rice! Location was close to everything - the Mekong river, the famous temples, the alms ceremony and night market / shops.
I would also like to give a huge shout out to our check-in staff Ken, he went above and beyond to make our stay the most amazing one. He accommodated to split our bed for two people. He was our barista who made our Margarita drink, and our welcome lemongrass drink He served us food in the buffet breakfast. And lastly, he drove us back to the airport.
Overall, I would really recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Luang Prabang. A+++"
"This property is outstanding in every way! The location was on the Mekong River. A beautiful location to enjoy from your patio or terrace. The room is clean, comfortable, unique and roomy. The staff are awesome! Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping and restaurant. They all were there to make my stay the most enjoyable and memorable time in Luang Prabang. The front desk staff helped me with many things. They secured train tickets, private tour drivers, taxi and similar services needed during my stay. The restaurant, wow! It oversees the Mekong River with a beautiful view! I feel best in Luang Prabang. The restaurant staff are amazing! The breakfast and dinner menu was so delicious (sap lai). Whether you are wanting Asian or western food. All is delicious! This property is a must for staying in Luang Prabang. I enjoyed it so much. I extended my stay TWICE!!! For a total of 13 nights!
If I were to return to Luang Prabang, I would definitely want to stay here again! "
"Everything about our stay, from start to finish, was unreal. The staff are so helpful and kind. The hotel itself is beautiful and the food in the restaurant downstairs is top notch. It’s also incredibly clean and well looked after. If I’m ever in Luang Prabang again, I’d happily revisit (and hopefully for longer!)"
"A beautiful hotel in central Luang Prabang. The courtyard is an absolutely wonderful place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or an afternoon respite. The family that operates the hotel is gracious while at the same time efficient. Very clean and very quiet. I slept well every night. "
