"The hotel was very pretty well appointed very well kept the location is good because it is close to the train station. The staff was very friendly with the exception of maybe one person that seemed irritated by questions. They could’ve given a little bit more information and been a little bit more helpful and proactive in helping us understand how to find all the sites for for instance, we thought we had to go all the way to Lugano for the boats. The Havana bar is a lot of fun great vibe, but the breakfast buffet was really not good poor selection not the best tasting food. Definitely not impressed with the breakfast. Lugano overall is very touristy very expensive and not the most scenic even though it’s known for being scenic, the architecture is just lacking, considering it Swiss Italian. Also the indoor pool just feels like nothing exciting just a pool in a hotel. This hotel is great though for an escape, especially if you go to Lakeview, you could just hang out in your room the entire time very comfortable."
