"After an awkward initial conversation with my host caused by poor communication through hotels.com, and me arriving at a slightly inconvenient time, everything worked out fine. The apartment is a little dated but has everything you need. There is no parking on site but on street parking is available nearby (up the hill!) and very well connected by frequent buses into the centre of the beautiful old town. I only stayed one night but it was ideal for that brief visit. If you like Riesling and...

From the initial welcome; to the helpful conversation about my ongoing route plans; to the helpful offer of where to park my motorcycle safely, this was the standout stay of my journey from the UK through Germany towards Bavaria.
Lovely, characterful building, affordable rate and genuine interest in me, the traveller.
I will most certainly look to stay here again; so many interesting places to visit nearby, and a feeling of being 'home from home'.

The bedroom was clean as expected. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was what we have come to expect in this type of hotel, plentiful.

The hotel is a great destination for couples or adults. The swimming pool and spa areas are not suitable for children but wonderful for adults. Everything is very clean and well looked after.
We stayed in one of the south-facing rooms (last minute booking) in the older part of the hotel, the rooms was comfortably furnished and a good size. There were many nice touches such as complementary chilled mineral water and a bottle of wine, an umbrella, a rucksack with water bottles that could be...

Room was exceptionally spacious with sofa and balcony. Swimming pool was quiet, relaxing and water temperature and was just right. Daily cleaning was excellent. Cleaner very helpful. The stand out was the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and comprehensive. We dined each evening of our seven night stay. The range of food on the menu was impressive and the quality first class. Obviously a very accomplished chef. Restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful. They showed it was...

The hotel is very unique and lovely. The room was large and we loved the balcony , really beautiful view of the castle. The bed was comfy with really big pillows, which appear to be normal in Germany. Location is ideal and the staff helped us with our parking , as there was a wine festival on, which shut off some parking.
Breakfast was first class with lots of variety and the staff looked after us really well.

Easy to find with SatNav. Friendly reception staff. Room was lovely, though wasn't garden view (facing the roof with a bit of countryside beyond) and no slippers as suggested on website. Lovely comfortable bedding, no fan or air conditioning but a nice breeze in the hot September morning. Breakfast was fine with standard continental choices. Ample parking and Wi-Fi worked OK. If we had more time we would have enjoyed a game of table tennis in the garden!

What’s there to see and do in Lutz?
While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like Tiererlebnispark Bell, or get outside and enjoy nature at Moselle Promenade. Burg Eltz and Maria Engelport Monastery are a couple of places you'll find in the wider area.
What’s a holiday rental in Lutz like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Lutz. Holiday rentals offer amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll be comfy for your stay. If you're concerned about a clean environment, holiday rentals can provide a sense of seclusion away from shared hotel lifts and busy front desks while still allowing you to travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which makes a holiday rental a popular choice for families.
