"I don't usually write negative reviews but I had to with this hostel. First off, the staff were great, no complaints there. I never stayed in the dorm area as they were all booked so no comment there. I had a loft style room. The stairs up to it were very steep. I can see someone falling on the way down if they've had a few too many. One of the steps was very rotted out and felt like it may give way any day. "The room with a private toilet is located right next to the bar/reception, so you need to have the curtains closed at all times if you don't want staff and guests looking straight in, only a few meters away. They also play music from the bar/reception until around 11 pm and start again around 7-9am, and it can be heard clearly in the room. The room's AC is very loud. "I would highly recommend this hostel for Backpackers and solo travellers. It is located walking distance from convenience stores, pharmacies and food options. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The biggest asset for me was the laundry facilities onsite, this was super convenient. Absolutely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. They also have luggage storage for guests so you can make Manila your base of operations if you are travelling with suitcases like I did and then...
